Thanks so much for this review! I am actually seeing Chloe Misseldine dance Giselle on the 28th. I live in Boston and this is my first time seeing ABT. I can't wait.
This is such an illuminating and honest critique. I absolutely love reading your pieces and watching your videos. I’m one of the lucky ones that have had the chance to see Nela (and also the amazing Yasmine Nagdi) in Giselle here in London, and Chloe Misseldine doing a Giselle variation with Reece Clarke in a gala event earlier this year. After all your inspiring comments, I can’t wait to see ABT one day.
Thank you so much for these words and support! I truly appreciate it and am so pleased you're enjoying everything. That's amazing you've seen Nela in person, I still never have! It's on my list for sure.
It was one of those nights where no one wanted to leave. There must be something in the atmosphere right now because I've been blessed to be in some wonderfully engaged audiences theatrically speaking. Maybe because of where I was seated, I finally noticed how Giselle's grave is in the exact same location as her home in Act 1, a perfectly chilling bit of staging.

Such a good note and yes it was a great show, so happy you got to see it.
